This video features some things to try on the mouthpiece alone. These will help with your tuning. Be sure not to move your embouchure, just the inside shape of your throat and mouth. See me if you are really interested in mouthpiece¬† drills. I don’t agree with everything he does in this video.

Pay close attention to how his throat area moves when he changes pitch.

Here is a great picture of the 7 military saxophones. Eb sopranino, Bb soprano, Eb alto, Bb tenor, Eb baritone, Bb Bass and Eb contra-bass.

The man in the photo is Siguard Rascher, a very important American saxophonisit from the early 20th century.
