The man in the photo is Siguard Rascher, a very important American saxophonisit from the early 20th century.

Wynton Marsalis plays the Hummel trumet concerto, 3rd movement.
Wynton Marsalis won a Grammy for best classical album and a Grammy for best jazz album both in the same year. He was 19 years old.
